The truth is, nothing happens over night. We all have our good and our bad days. On this neverending journey of self, learning, transformation and love, I have personally tried and tested affirmations, and they work.
It is not as though you say it once and wake up the following morning with a fabulous life, an amazing bank account, long legs ( my personal desire) and everything else. It takes discipline, it takes commitment, it takes….A C T I O N.
Small steps are key to achieving the ultimate goal. If you want a breakthrough, start from now. Aside from trying to eat healthy, trying to be responsible and the plethora of other insane tasks we try to succeed at on a daily basis, focus on the inside.
Speak to yourself as the magic you are. Even if you feel like an idiot at first ( I did! ) Just keep at it. If you have a morning routine, incorporate your affirmations into it. Repeat them to yourself as much as you can.
If 21 days makes a habit for everything else in life, perhaps 21 days of giving yourself the emotional love you deserve by just a few sentences may spark a fire, leading to an ultimate change.
The best version of yourself requires work mentally and physically.
